Susan Barnes was born in New Jersey and was taught to appreciate art from a very early age. She studied at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia, Massachusetts College of Art at Bennington College, and Weekend with the Masters in California. Susan taught a workshop for the Burlington County Art Guild and demonstrated oils for the Willingboro Art Alliance and the Burlington County Teen Arts Program. She has received numerous awards. Her works can be found in the collections of Burlington County and Congressman Tom MacArthur among others. New Jersey galleries representing her work are North End Trilogy in Barnegat Light, William Ris Gallery in Stone Harbor, and Simply Art & Framing in Cranford.
