Donna Ayers was born and raised in Spring Lake, New Jersey. With artistic talent evident from early childhood, she dedicated herself to developing her skills. After graduation at the top of her class from Rhode Island School of Design, she advanced with further training in New York and Paris. Since 1985, Donna has worked full time as a professional artist. In 1991, she made the decision to specialize in portraits, declining other work. Donna continues to live and work in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
