Growing up along the Jersey Shore, the ocean has always been a huge part of Caitlin's life—and a constant source of inspiration. "There’s something about the rhythm of the waves, the colors of the sky at sunrise, and the way light moves across the water that pulls me in. These moments, both quiet and powerful, are what I try to capture in my work".
Caitlin studied art at the University of Delaware, where she earned my BFA, and over the years has worked with oil, acrylic, and resin. Each medium brings something different to the table, and she likes being able to mix traditional techniques with a more modern feel. Her style blends realism with bold, vibrant colors to bring the landscape to life in a way that feels both familiar and fresh.
She's especially drawn to those fleeting moments—the sun breaking through the clouds, the shimmer on the water, the unexpected beauty in shadow. These details often go unnoticed in our everyday rush, but they carry so much feeling. Her goal is to slow things down and invite people to really see and feel the energy of a place.
Right now, Caitlin's work is featured in galleries and boutiques along the Jersey Shore, and she's excited to share it with more coastal communities and beyond. "With each new piece, I hope to spark a connection—not just to the beauty of nature, but to the emotions it stirs in us".
