"I love to paint, and I embrace the beauty of nature. As a landscape artist, working outdoors allows me to capture the fleeting light, en plein air. Whether at the beach, on the lake or river, painting alla prima provides unique challenges at each location. As a contemporary artist working in the impressionist style, light and color drive my creative work.
I have arrived at this destination late in life, but the journey was worth it. I have a greater appreciation now than when I first walked away from my art 40 years ago."
