Laura is a passionate artist born and raised in South Jersey. Her journey with art began as soon as she could hold a paintbrush, and her deep love for the sea was sparked by cherished family vacations to the Jersey Shore. From an early age, she was captivated by both artistic expression and the beauty of marine life.
Although her academic path led her to earn a degree in marine biology, the pull of the canvas remained constant, allowing her to nurture and grow her passion for painting. Over time, Laura seamlessly merged these two worlds, drawing endless inspiration from the ocean and its creatures, now the heart of her artistic expression. She is deeply grateful for the unwavering love and support of her family, who have always encouraged her to pursue her dreams.
Today, Laura works primarily with acrylics and watercolors, often exploring innovative techniques such as incorporating salt water and salt crystals to create unique textures that reflect the symbolic beauty of the sea. Her work flows between realism and abstract styles, guided by whatever inspires her in the moment.
Her art is further enriched by her travels, paddleboarding adventures, and profound connection to nature. With a strong commitment to making a positive impact, Laura donates a portion of each sale to support environmental and animal conservation efforts.
