Bernie Hubert grew up in the New York area during the 1950s and was influenced by the nostalgic feel of that wonderful time, including the great rivalries between baseball’s New York Giants, Brooklyn Dodgers, and New York Yankees. A retired businessman and self-taught artist, he works as a photorealist, primarily in acrylic on canvas, in the genres of Americana and sports art. Bernie has garnered numerous awards and acknowledgements, including in 2014 being named a winner of Artist’s Magazine’s prestigious “Best Artists Over the Age of 60.” Bernie says of his art, “I paint memories.” He lives in Morristown, NJ.
